How to deal with plans being ruined

How to deal with Plans being ruined. The word of the week is Trust!

Sunday was a beautiful day, the word trust came up in many different sermons that I listened to. During this time, many plans have been canceled, and a lot has happened that we did not expect. Uncertainty is an acceptable emotion during this time, which is absolutely normal, given the circumstances.

How then do we deal with our plans being ruined?  We put our trust in God and Understand that amidst the chaos, he is the only author of our story and has a bigger plan for all of us https://ndelwamwasa.com/my-perspective-his-plan/(Jeremiah 29:11).

Practical Ways to Maintain trust

  1. Pull out your Journal: I look back at what I had written down earlier in the year (my list). I look at requests that I had made known to God in January or December and check off things that have come to pass by this month (of course, through prayer and hard work). This helps me continue to have faith and trust that what I am writing and asking God for is coming to fruition. KEEP PLANING AND TRUSTING GOD.

2. Reassess your list: For the points written down that haven’t come to fruition yet. If they are all things in your control; Figure out a plan to put work in to get those things accomplished.

3. Plan and write it out: Play your strengths! on a sheet of paper, write down the 5 things you think you do really well. Of the five, I typically focus on the first two that come to mind. Use your strengths to pull yourself out of adversity you may be experiencing. I believe in positive affirmations, I affirm myself based on how I feel. Affirmations typically can pull me out of any funk.

These steps are how I have dealt with plans getting ruined and trusting in God’s plan. Easier said than done, but it is worth a try.
